quartersawn maple neck with Kluson tuners, Light Tint Satin finish and model logo delete.

I believe it was a special order from one of G&L Custom Shop dealers (Built for Brickhouse Music in River Falls, Wisconsin).
We have 10 of them registered in our G&L Registry. The first one was built in 2022.
Also, note that the model name of Legacy SSZ should have the Z-coil in the Neck position not the bridge, it really should be called a "Legacy ZSS".

The "SSZ" name has bugged me since I started. I also think it should be called ZSS, but unfortunately that name predates my time at the company.
Maybe I can clear that up in the near future!

Also, this guitar was one we pieced together from parts that were already built and painted around NAMM earlier this year. I wanted to get a few builds put together to showcase the Custom Shop during our pre-NAMM event at the factory. Tom from Brickhouse happened to be out for NAMM and bought a few of the models we had on display, including this one.
When I first started in December, we had a pile going of half-finished projects that either started out as builds the team wanted to do, or orders that were cancelled before completion.
We've started slowly building those out ever since as inventory to go along with the orders we're completing.
