Sometimes I hate myself for not loving guitars with this kind of non-stained, glossy finish.

I think gloss looks "right" on a guitar that has been stained. But the same glossy finish on an unstained "natural" body just looks.. I don't know, ...incomplete?

It's an entirely personal prejudice, and only reflects poorly on me (as a somewhat cantankerous curmudgeon) but there it is.

Nice bass otherwise.
