Here’s a G&L Custom Shop Matador in Butterscotch Blonde over swamp ash, 1-ply black pickguard, quartersawn 2A flame maple neck with a Vintage Tint Satin finish.

Sweet. (2) things come to mind:

1) The Butterscotch blonde is translucent, nice grain showing. IIRC , Most Butterscotch finishes I've seen are opaque. Maybe because its swamp ash?

2) With all my experience owning/playing many fine basses, including 4 G&L's, I've not owned or played a Double-P configuration.
I guess one would be TWICE as awesome as a regular P-Bass! :happy0007:

That is because the finish is done with Thin Skin Urethane finish. Butterscotch Blonde is a Premier finish and is available on Swamp Ash only.

Opaque or translucent- Butterscotch Blonde looks great; what a classic color!

And as usual, the G&L finish dept. KILLS it! :mrgreen:
