Roasted 3A Flame Maple Quarter Sawn satin finished neck,
White Perloid block inlays and 4-ply Tortoise Shell pickguard.

That is so nice. I'm surprised, now that I think of it, that G&L hasn't offered a P/J before. It makes perfect sense!
I can attest that the translucent Mary Kaye Blonde finish is the bomb! My ASAT had that finish WITH natural binding!!!
The neck & 'board on that bass is beautiful.
