New G&L owner from Ohio.

Just ordered a g&l tribute. plan on doing some upgrades including the seymour duncan everything axe pickup set. Im excited!

Which Tribute did you exactly order? You might know that the pickups are probably the best parts on a Tribute, as they are made by G&L in Fullerton.

Of course I don't know how those G&L Humbuckers do compare to Seymour Duncan pickups. At least sometimes G&L uses Seymours too.

welcome to the " G & L club" !! ... I would try the factory pick ups first , G&L PU's sound pretty darn good .... what part of Ohio are you from ??
