ASAT Signature Player in AZ

Hello, I was fortunate enough to have purchased a 91 or 92 ASAT sig as my first electric at the age of 14. 
I just turned 29 a few days ago and we've been through alot together. Its somwwhat unusual in that its got a 1 3/4 nut and flat radius, i think its a #4 neck. Rosewood fretboard, sunburst finish with white powdercoated pickguard and chrome hardware. I'll post pics soon.
I'm looking for either an S500 or Comanche for my next axe, I had a 99 Legacy which was great but having grown up on MFD pickups the alnicos just feel like they are missing something. Glad to be on board!

Welcome aboard! And what a beautiful axe 
How did you ever decide on a G&L at that age instead of any of the other brands? I wouldn't necessarily expect a teenager to settle on a G&L, so just curious.

I bought it from my uncle who was the second owner. I knew nothing at all except my uncle had a 95 American standard strat and this blew it away tonally in every which way. I believe I gave $500.00 for it in mint condition, case candy and all.
