Old-time member, new intro!

Hi, all,
I've been on the G&LDP since the early 2000s, but haven't made an intro. My name is Tom, I've been playing guitar since the late '70s, and knew about G&L from the first ads in Guitar Player magazine. Never saw them in the wild, until that fateful day in San Francisco, 1992, when a little repair shop in my neighborhood had a Comanche VI Signature in the window. I never forgot it, and after struggling with a typical late '70s quality Stratocaster for 25+ years, I bought the reissue Comanche Studio VI when it debuted in 2007. My appreciation for G&L has only grown since then. So many of the guitars are so excellent that it's hard to draw the line!!
