I really like the L-1000s, they sound and feel really fit my tastes. The L-2000 and L-1500 are awesome, and very distinct from each other. The El Toro is an acquired taste, sometimes I love it, sometimes I don't. The L-1000s have body date stamps of July and August, 1980, so there are pretty early instruments in the G&L timeline. Better late than never finding this page!
