Hi Guys,
My name is Bas and I am a proud owner of 2 G&L Basses.
A USA LB-100 and a USA ASAT semi hollow. I bought them a few years ago.
Both are 4 string basses. I love them both for sound and playability.
I love the LB-100 for it's simplicity and a sound that will always work and cut through whatever style you play.
The ASAT is a quite divers bass but I love it most to play rock.
Yesterday I bought a L-1000 online.
It will probably take a couple of weeks to arrive because I have to ship it from Miami to Suriname (South America) where I live.
Never played one but the phrase "P-Bass on steroids" made me look for one for quite a while.
My other two basses are both original but I am not quite sure about this one. It has black Schaller tuners and gold hardware (knobs, switch, saddles of the bridge and even the metal parts (poles) of the MFD Humbucker. I have never seen that.
As soon as the bass arrives I will dive into that. Maybe you guys know more about this.
