Hello in there...hello

Hi I'm Joe from Bowing Green, KY. I have other guitars, but I never played a G&L until I bought a used Butterscotch Blonde 2001 ASAT classic in Dec 2019. I loved how that played and I have acquired 4 more G&L's since then:

Pre-owned 2017 3-tone sunburst Doheny (bought from Reverb in CA)
New 2017 ASAT Special Semi-hollow Ruby Red Metallic - Mahogany w/black binding on Black Limba
Pre-owned 2016 Graphite Frost Legacy Deluxe HB
New 2018 Custom Shop ASAT Special - GOLD Metal Flake.

The Custom Shop Gold ASAT Special is from Anderton's Music in the UK and is the actual guitar that Danish Pete plays in this YouTube video.

On another note, I acquired all 4 guitars this month.... Props to my lovely wife for taking this like a trooper!

I found this forum and registered my guitars. While searching the September 2017 news archive, I noticed the 3-tone sunburst Doheny in the photo. I examined the picture and compared the wood grain and tortoise pickguard markings to mine....it was my guitar!!! I was pretty exited to say the least! http://glguitars.com/2017/09/

I then searched the forum and found a post from Craig (Photos of the new Doheny model) where it showed several photos of Doheny's pictured individually on the G&L bench. Mine was on the left in the first G&L ad photo and I did find a photo of it on the bench as well. In the same post, he also had this link: http://glguitars.com/product/doheny/ It was my Doheny again!

Serial number is CLF1708101. Does anybody know the serial numbers for the first production run? I think mine is #101 (YYMMnnn), but hey, I've been this lucky...could it be?

I'm looking forward to diving into the site later...but for now it's time to "spank the plank"
