Greetings From Los Alamos

Having played, bought, sold and traded many guitars over 50 years, it seems strange to me now why G&L was never was part of my life. To be sure I had reached for one in the past ONCE. That's all. And when I did reach for it, the salesperson dissuaded me for some reason not remembered. Since then I never investigated them further. The lack of advertising or players recommendations etc...compared to the big 3 reinforced my disinterest. What a waste of time...and tones. Just picked up a Tribute Classic Semi-hollow Bluesboy in blonde w/cherry fretboard and am AMAZED at the quality of tones, craftsmanship and setup right out of the box! Best at this price range I've ever experienced before. Better than my American Professional Series Stratocaster as well! On top of that, my Bluesboy is more fun to play. The neck feels like an old friend. Needless to say I'm blown away and am a Leo' Other Guitars convert.

I have not played a Bluesboy but they look like they would cover anything and Yes G&L makes great guitars. Welcome!

Xmas stuff...
All the lights are up here on "The Hill" and almost feels like Christmas (politics) as most folks are trying hard.
Me...playing new tunes (political) and going through strings more than ever. Lots 'o emotion in these tunes.
Haven't put my Bluesboy down and yes, lots of variety in this guitar.
Thinking of naming her "The Growler" 'cause she really can!
I take it back about not having put her down. I did take out the Stratocaster, Casino and ES335 to remind myself why the Bluesboy made it's way to me.
Fun to play as well as feeling really right.
Have missed having a Tele type guitar, but the Bluesboy does more than a regular Tele.
Fear of repeating myself, but the care taken in craftsmanship and setup blows away the competition.
Anyways...thanks again for the welcome and happy Holidays to you and yours.
