G'day
I'm Chris, bass player from Port Macquarie NSW Australia.
I've previously owned L2000 and SB2 Tributes. My newest bass is a USA Asat semi hollow in blue burst.
Can anyone tell me does the bass work in passive mode if the battery dies?

Hi and welcome.
Try taking the battery out and see if still works. I'm not a bass player but I do have a couple active guitars. I should try the same with my guitars. Let us know what happens and post often and post pictures please.
