Greetings from Tucson, Az! I recently acquired a blonde Legacy from Rainbow Guitars; it’s a blonde finish, white pickguard and model-delete headstock. I’m coming from a long line of Fenders, most recently a 50’s Road Worn Strat. The playability of the neck, the light weight and memories of my ‘93 ASAT Special landed me here. I’m loving this guitar! Yes, the instruments with empress body are Special Builds from the Fullerton factory. Empress wood is not a current option because
it is difficult for G&L's wood supplier to provide enough good quality body blanks to make it a standard optional body wood.
