I will be away from the site for a couple more days dealing with an ongoing plumbing/sewer issue here at home.

The excavation crew just showed up to start the dig and repair. We will soon find out if the cause
was a city issue and we have been told that the city will cover the costs if this is found to be true.
Got to run.
Thanks,

Problem found:
And fixed:
Next step is to convince the City Manager that the sewer pipe they had installed was defective or damaged during installation.

We had the same problem at our place last year. I didn't envy the apprentice plumber that dug the 6ft deep hole with a shovel (pipe was busted at a point under the floor of the shed, so couldn't get an excavator in there) to expose the damaged pipe one bit - hopefully he was a really bad person who deserved it. In our case someone who lived here previously had managed to get a t-shirt down there?!?!
Good luck with the council Craig!
