Is Fullerton CA named after George Fullerton like how Fender avenue is named after Leo Fender or is it all just coincidence?

No, Fullerton CA had it's name just before George arrived there.

Actually, it was named after a George Fullerton, just not the "G" of G&L.
Check:
History of Fullerton, CA.
Hope this helps.

My understanding, from Tim Page, is that our George Fullerton is the grandson of the man for whom the city was named.

I'm with you Ed, there are a lot of old timers who I miss on the forum and I have not been around that long. Are times changin' that much or is the forum changing? Maybe some of both, I don't know.--Darwin

Last time I heard from him a week or 3 ago, he told me he has been traveling a lot lately limiting his opportunities to check in on the G&L Forum.
