This article is not from some nutjob lunatic web site. It's from Reuters. I'm not a "believer" but I try to keep an open mind. I'm wondering what you all make of this:

Seems a tad odd, can't say I buy it. I am plenty selfish enough to assume we are alone. Then I am also reasonable enough to think even if we weren't, in an infinite galaxy, the odds create this solution as entirely impossible. I do not believe faster than light travel is possible. Mostly as we have mass and stuff.

If you lived twenty billion years though, it sort of expands the realm of possibilities, No? - ed

BTW, nobody is saying the galaxy is "infinite." Ours (like all others, as far as I know) is pretty darn finite.

Also, I fail to detect any "solution" in the news bit offered here. Only a possibility or three... - ed

No no Ed, I meant Lesser as in Humans to extra terrestrials that could make it to our planet and managed to find it in the first place, should they exist. If I were in the situation, I would definitely mess with the locals.
