I am gigging both tonight and tomorrow. We have a Sunday afternoon from 4 to 8 PM at the same place so we walk in and the afternoon gigs are really easy.

My youngest daughter plays in a competitive soccer league, so we're "soccering" as always. This time both Saturday and Sunday we're at a Beach Soccer tournament. For those unaware, no shoes or shin pads, just special socks you wear that have a locking top so the sand doesn't get in. And you're playing on soft sand so running it definitely more difficult. But it's a smaller field of play.

Even an entry level SLR kicks most point and shoots scare in the stones for quality. Not to mention if you go used you can get a bargain.
