+1. The intro to Lonely Woman is one of my standard warmups when I pick up the upright (the other being Stardust). Lonely Woman gets a lot of solo time on my G&L basses as well.

The first time you put up a pic of her it felt very familiar, I had a hunch.
Did you buy her off ebay ?
Good to hear she get's oiled when she needs it ,
I can tell from my pics I sold her without polishing the frets,etc.

I haven't heard Rejoicing. I'll have to track it down. My favorite Lonely Woman is from the "Montreal Tapes" CD with Don Cherry and Ed Blackwell.

I didn't know that Horace Silver also had a "Lonely Woman". Is one based on the other, or do they just share a title?
