tung oil neck finish

i am having a custom birds eye maple pickguard made for my asat classic. i want the pickguard to match the neck. It is birds eye with the tung oil finish. does anyone know how to achieve a similar finish?

It's not Tung oil but rather it's a tinted gun-oil finish. Here's a post which might help: What is TGN?.

I really doubt that they would accept a non-standard part and finish it.
They are not set up for these types of requests and there is a liability
factor, as well. Also, the factory is very busy for the next several months.
You could ask your local G&L dealer to see if it is possible.
