Post tele-size humbucker to put in ASAT Classic
Looking for advice on how to turn my Classic into a Classic Bluesboy using the same pickguard (i.e. Tele sized humbucking pickup in neck position rather than the full sized SD Seth Lover HB in the Blueboy). The only SD option I see is the Hot Rails. Ideas? Thanks,
Eric

Thanks for the feedback, Tim. You lost me on modifying the bridge PU and reversing the ground plane - can you point to me to a post that deals with that?

Maybe I should just bite the bullet and give up on re-using the pick guard, i.e. go with a full sized humbucker.

I didn't mention that the Classic is from the Tribute series. Does anyone know if the body cavity allows for a humbucker or am I necessarily looking at cutting wood? Does anyone have a pic of the body cavity?

Thanks again for the help,
Eric

Hey Tim,

Have you done an A/B test of the US Bluesboy Semi-Hollow with the Tribute Bluesboy Semi-Hollow?
It would be interesting to hear them back to back, being that the Tribute uses the G&L alnico humbucker instead
of the Seth Lover.

Anyone else been able to compare these two back to back?
