Which color red is my Legacy?

is there any good way to figure out which shade of red is the proper name for my guitar? its a Legacy with a red color that has a sparkle or metallic quality to it, i've seen Sparkle Red and Red Flake and other reds all listed as G&L colors. i'll post a pic when i have a chance.

flake will have very large particles(think about 3-5mm wide), something like CAR will have small ones and just sort of sparkle, but not be flecked. Your guitar, of course, does not exist if we cannot see pictures of it though.

these 'flecks' are very small, def not 3-5mm. don't know how well it will show up but here are a couple pics.






from your description this seems a lot more like candy apple.

it appears to be a 1993 legacy, does that narrow down the color choices/ is there a list of colors available by year for g&L? thanks

Looks like Candy Apple Red to me also, just the hue and whatnot. I don't know any further.

It's standard issue: see G&L's Legacy 2HB spec page. It just look's weird on a backwards guitar. (BTW, I'm a lefty who plays righty).

probably red metal flake?

Its Candy Apple Red, the 'flecks' aren't nearly as big as the ones in your Sparkle Red guitar you posted in the other post. I don't think there even was a color called Red Metal Flake, yours is Sparkle red, not red Metal Flake.
