Long story short…
When I ordered my Comanche back in 05 I ordered it with a RW fret board. It came in maple and I sent it back.
Well 6 weeks later when I got it back they swapped out the neck and it had a different s/n and in the case were both certificates of authenticity. One with the new s/n and one with the old from the maple fret board neck.
I’ve wondered for years if that neck ended up on something else… it’s not in the registry, although I did add mine.
It would be cool for me anyway to know if it ended up on someone’s guitar.
