Belated NGD

I’ve had a 1992 G&L Legacy (3 color SB) since I bought it from a friend around 1994, and it’s been my #1 all this time. Several months ago, I added a near-mint, late 2017 Doheny (also 3 color SB) and I’ve been having a blast with it. The pickups can sound sweet, but they definitely have more output than the Duncan SSL-2’s that came stock in my Legacy. The neck’s also a bit thicker than my old Legacy, but both feel very comfortable.
The Doheny neck has an Indian rosewood fretboard with MOP inlays and white binding. Although I don’t think it was an upgrade, the maple neck has noticeable flame and looks as good as it feels. You can see the flame on the headstock as well.

My two Legacies also have some slight figure in their maple necks; one's flamed and the other is more of a birdseye.

Very nice indeed. And, yes, I'd take the flame too. Wow!
