2008 S-500 pickguard

Hey everybody,

I just got a 2008 S-500 and while I like the look with the original black pickguard, I would love a tortoise one. The G&L online store specifies G&Ls from early 2016 to present. Has the S-500 PG changed at all since 2008? Might I order it, and when they see the serial # tell me I'm out of luck, even if it's compatible?

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

The G&L pickguards used to be made by Chandler (pickguardheaven.com). If you contact them they should be able to make you one.
