Here's a Special Build ASAT HH RMC in natural over Cocobolo on an empress back, rear contour, rosewood board, Light Tint Satin finish.

That looks quite nice - love the no pick guard option on something like this - and the empress wood will keep the weight down a bit also. This'll make someone in Franklin MA pretty happy.

That's one beautiful ASAT! So is empress that dark? Or did they finish just the back leaving the front natural?

I just checked UpFront Guitars website and they have photos including the Build Specifications sheet. The body wood is actually Okoume finished in Honey and
Cocobolo top finished in Natural Gloss. Check their web site for more photos.
