Post Strap Peg Placement
This might be old news to many of you, but for me it's a big deal.

I love my ASAT Classic. The action is set somewhat high and the sound is magnificent. It's the best sounding guitar of all that I own, plugged straight into an amp. Add any effect and it just gets better.

The only problem has been that I do not like how it hangs with a strap when I'm standing. The neck is more parallel to the ground than what I'm used to. I've been told that this is the way it tends to be with T-Style guitars, and my go to for decades have been S-Styles and a Les Paul.

This has been a major PITA because I l-o-v-e this G&L guitar.

I mentioned it to a tech who I went to, recently, and he replaced one of the screws in the neck backplate with a peg (G&L that I keep handy). I remember hearing about this somewhere but hadn't thought about it as a fix.

Anyway: it's perfect! The guitar hangs exactly as I like it!

Someone mentioned that I should keep an eye on the neck, though, as it might shift over time with the added weight. Anyone heard about this...?
