JB in Blueburst over Empress ...

Check out this JB in Blueburst over Empress, pearl guard, maple neck with Clear Satin neck finish. Serial number CLF072120.
This JB is ridiculously light, just 7.8 lbs. We just finished building it and now it's available for G&L dealers.

We scored a little stash of killer 2-piece Empress and we're building some instruments we're interested to see made out of this wood.

Good midrange punch, but a little more of the top end of swamp ash. Swamp ash tends to have a bit of midrange scoop to it;
this has a flatter response, closer to alder than ash.
