The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.
I should have got a ticket this year. I really wanted to get my hands on a few G&L necks to figure out what I want before I drop the money on a custom order. Big Leo is looking good though.
Report from the NAMM setup crew: #BigLeo is massive. Seems fitting, as almost all of the people attending the show owe their careers to the instruments and opportunities created by Leo Fender. Even if you worked your whole career at Gibson (let’s just assume, ok?) the musical instruments business and music itself was radically and forever changed by Leo. - Dave McLaren
My brother John accepting the NAMM Believe In Music award, a nice touch since it’s the 40th anniversary of the G&L brand. Not my pic, because I showed up like 10 seconds too late, walking up the aisle toward the podium as John was coming down. This total derp moment made me laugh, so I’d like to thank Marriott for their support in making me late. - Dave McLaren
So my old friend Guitar Shorty rolls up in fine form, doesn’t see me sneak up and start messing with his scooter. This guy is a legend. Married Jimi Hendrix’s sister and taught little Jimi guitar licks. Did front flips - FRONT FREAKING FLIPS - off his amp, land on his feet and keep ripping. I’ll never forget the first time I saw him do it in the early 1990s. I thought he was lit and was gonna faceplant but no... he pulled it off. So I said “Hold my beer” and...nope, I’m not that crazy, but Shorty is.
Guitar Shorty and Johnny McLaren hanging at our NAMM Booth.
It was nice getting a view of the show. Thanks.
Between the G&L coverage and The Heritage Guitar coverage, it's almost like being there. Almost.
The Orange-ish Skyhawk caught my eye as well as some Asat's. Beautiful!
Next year G&L should (please) hand out Leo Pocket Protectors.

That would be the Fullerton Deluxe Skyhawk HH in Hugger Orange. And, yes they did bring back a couple of the DMS colors.
The other being Sublime Green.
Here's the new Fullerton Deluxe Legacy SSH in Sublime Green:
