Really pretty. Maybe this is a dumb question, but why does that ASAT bass have two strap buttons on the bottom?

A few years ago Dave had posted a photo of an ASAT BASS on the G&L Facebook page and someone asked that same question. Here is his response:

you use the one on the low E side. This design is neck heavy, but using an offset strap button helps a lot.
The other strap button is for balance - visually, it would look stupid without it, and functionally, it makes it easy to lean against a wall, amp etc.
