Fluent Legato and Shredding with G&L

I am curious whether anyone shreds and achieves a smooth speedy legato?

If so, how is your guitar set up? Do you do this using the jumbo or vintage frets?

I don't play like this but I would like to know if people are able to with a typical G&L. .

sure. jumbo frets are better. 10-50, and action at factory spec, but almost no relief. the guitar doesn't really matter, it's the technique.

I actually think G&Ls help a lot.
Their neck is slightly wider at the heel than Fenders, which helps more than the difference in dimension might suggest.
They offer a 1 3/4" nut width as an option, and also a 12" board radius on all of their nut widths.
Alongside which, they're great designs, really well made, with a very well-chosen selection of other nice options that apply to almost the whole range of models.
Amongst the models, there are great pickup layouts to be had.
