I replaced the strings with a new set of D'Addario EXL110's, adjusted the truss rod, string height and intonation on this guitar so far. The frets are finished nicely and are pretty much level but not PLEK quality. The finish is very good but there are a couple spots that were not properly cleaned before the Poly went on. If you've ever worked with polyurethane you know that it tends to move away from any dust creating kind of a divot. That is only noticeable if the light is right.
In all fairness, it's not quite the same quality one would expect from a G&L USA model, but its close. But then, it didn't cost a small fortune. It is a very playable guitar! I like it!!
