Hi everyone: I am looking for the neck thickness at the first and 12th frets for the rosewood fingerboard maple neck on the 2005 Tribute Legacy. Please if anyone knows, or can post a link to the answer, that would be great.
Of my 4 electrics, my favorite neck is on my 2005 Tribute ASAT Special Semi-hollow, and that's also a rosewood/maple neck. It's 41.8 mm at the nut, and quite slim at .780" - 0.870" and has a 9" radius.
I am looking at Legacy's lately and a 2005 Tribute popped up locally - a nice blueburst in great shape - and if it has the same slim neck it's coming home! The radius will be 12" and it'll be 1-5/8" nut width, as far as I can figure out from web archive info, but there's no detail on thickness.
Buddy couldn't (or didn't want to) measure it for me, but he sent neck pic's and it's hard to tell but looks thicker than my ASAT. I haven't been to see it obviously, and under the current lockdown I'd rather not until I'm reasonably sure I'm seriously interested.
So that's the story behind my question. Thanks for your help!
