Tribute L2000 neck spec

Looking at G&L Tribute L2000 specs online I see that the neck width says 1 3/4" , which is curious because the L2500 neck width is also listed as 1 3/4". I have a U.S. L2000 and I measured the nut and it is 1 5/8". I believe the G&L website info that the Tribute L2000 nut width is 1 3/4" is incorrect. Anybody know the real nut width specs?

See this post about the announcement of the 2003 Tribute Series instruments: What is the new Tribute series which G&L announced in 2003?.
The Tribute L-2000 bass neck is listed as: "L-2000 is 1 3/4" with 12" radius".

I also researched the various Tribute Series Dealer Price Lists (2009-2019) I have and checked the Internet Archives of the 2003-2020 versions
of the G&L website for the Tribute L-2000 model and they all say the same thing: 1 3/4" with 12" radius.

Perhaps one of members here who has a Tribute L-2000 or L-2000 Carve Top can measure the nut width on theirs and report back.

Hey there,

I came across this thread while searching info about L2000 Tribute neck specs. I have two of them- one is an '02 Korean build and the other is an '08 Indonesian build. I always felt like there were differences in the feel of the necks but I never bothered measuring the width at the nut until today!

The Korean L2000 is 1 and 5/8ths at the nut and you guessed it, the Indonesian is 1 and 3/4ths at the nut!

I picked up the Korean one used at a Guitar Center back in '08. No idea if the Korean neck is an oddity but as it turns out I really like that width and tend to play that one way more than the Indonesian one I picked up new at a shop the same year.

Just thought I would share my experience, have a good one!
