G&L Comanche Tribute

Thu Jun 17, 2010 10:04 am

Hey Guys,
I have just bought a G&L Comanche Tribute off of ebay for a great price ($460). I was wondering, what exactly does the push/pull pot do? I realize that this guitar's features aren't really documented and I have seen multiple answers when doing research online. Also, I was under the impression that the Tribute series guitars were made in Korea because the manufacturing standards were on par with the Japanese; however, my Comanche is made in Indonesia- how does the quality compare??

I hear the ones made there are exceptional. Nice buy! For the info you seek, look here: http://www.guitarsbyleo.com/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=259

Why the change in manufacturing location for the Tributes?

Hope this helps.

See What is the expander switch used on many of the models?

Hope this helps.

I have a Comanche Tribute (Indonesian) and also a USA 90's Comanche VI Leo Fender signature model.
Actually I like the Tribute very much. My question is, what gauge strings did it come with and what manufacturer? I think they are 46-10 but am not sure. Anyone know?
I like the tone and the way it plays so much I want to put the same strings on when I change them.
Thanks
