Legacy Tribute trem

How do i put in tremolo arm in my Legacy Tribute, which i got today? Arm has no threads as in Fender Strats, and if i try just to push it in like in Jazzmaster & Jaguar, nothing happens using same force as with those two other guitars.
I don`t dare to try harder, this example in kind of Pelham Blue (It is not as blue as real LPB) plays wonderfully and sounds as Strat in steroids & it`s finish is inpeccable.

It must be something else to be done, hope i don`t need to unmount the bridge or something else.

Whatever, i am going to get 3-5 more G&L`s next year, be very sure about it!
