1982 prototype G009410 explores a two-single-coil MFD arrangement. At the time, the original S•500 was being introduced
so it was convenient to start with those pickups and modify them as needed. The following year the SC•2 launched with much
different pickups, so I’d like to thank this prototype for not being the right direction and instead we got the SC•2 pickups that
achieved fame in the original ASAT
