Hi Craig,

The concept is like the Fullerton Standard, but done in batches and we move on to the next. Last time we have models/colors that could be ordered regularly.
It didn't work for us, so we're trying a different approach.

I have never heard of the Fullerton Standard ASAT Classic. What am I missing and what makes it different from an ASAT Classic?

It is an ASAT Classic with just the "standard" specs (no options or maybe just the OLS body or something like that) and a gig bag instead of the hard case. I'm reading it that they are going to make a batch of 10 or so in a single color with the same pickguard at a time, then offer them to all their dealers. By doing it in batches they can keep the costs down and have a lower price.

It sounds like the same principle that Suhr uses for their Pro Series (but of course Suhr Pro Series are twice as expensive as G&L's Fullerton Series) - make a batch is an single color instead of doing everything as a one-off order.

Interesting - so it's not going to be a set model, it's just that they decided to do their first runs as ASAT Classics in vintage white and in Spanish copper. The next time they do it they could do Legacys, or S-500s, or they could come back to ASAT Specials with different colors than Himalayan blue or ruby red metallic.
