90’s SB2 tuners

I took the tuning gears off the bass.. polished them up, now when reassemble they’re loose. I obviously didn’t have place the parts in the correct sequence.
I consider myself handy but the few parts have me baffled!

Are you by any chance missing the clip that is pressing the worm gear in place? Is the collar in place and properly seated? Is the phillips head screw tightened properly? Here a link to a page on my website on bass tuners. Hopefully the pictures will help you out.
