Installing S-500 MFD in Rear Routed Strat Body

Hey everybody, have a sort of exploratory question:

I'm considering doing a Strat style build (most likely with a Warmoth body) similar to an S-500 Deluxe (rear routed strat shape, SSS) and thinking about using S-500 MFDs. Has anybody ever tried mounting those MFD's to a rear routed strat body? It looks like they don't need the standard triangle style pickup routes. Do the leads come from beneath the mounting plate rather than out of the south side of the pickup? I've also seen it mentioned that they're deeper than standard single coils... Really any info on the sizing/mounting of S-500 MFDs would be appreciated and how they fit into standard rear routed strats would be appreciated!
