Generally, would a USA S-500 neck and loaded pickguard fit on a USA Legacy? Just wondering if the neck pocket and/or the depth of the pickguard routing in these two models differ?

Yes, a 4-bolt S-500 neck and pickguard will fit in a 4-bolt neck pocket of a USA Legacy. However, each neck is custom fitted, so it might not be a perfect fit.
No, the neck pocket and/or depth of the pickguard routing of these two models (Legacy and S-500) are the same. The bodies of both models are bathtub routed identically and
the pickguard screw holes are in the same location.
