Tribute S-500 String Retainer (string tree)

I was considering adding another string retainer to the guitar for the D an G string. I am not having any problems I am aware of but noted I do not have a nice downward angel on the string like I get off the first 2 string going through the retainer.
Any thoughts on if this is a good idea or not?

If I do add one are there any calculations on where it should be placed?

Do the retainers get screwed right into the head stock or is there a threaded insert that should go in first.

I am not having any problems

So just keep it as it is! As long as you don't have any problems, you don't need another string angle. For tuning stabilty a flat angle is better anyway.
