1987 SC-3 Viking Blue matching headstock ebony fretboard

Viking Blue G&L SC-3 with matching headstock from 1988. Ebony fretboard, factory roller nut. This is a great example of the mid-late '80s evolution of the SC series. The original MFD pickups are both bright and throaty. They have a lot of output and reward the player who likes to interact with the volume and treble controls. There are some scratches here and there, but this guitar is in very good and immediately playable condition. I've seen several of this model, including several blue nitrocellulose finishes like this, and the slight yellowing you see is typical. Approx 7.5 lbs. Rest assured this is both a looker and a player!
