Wow

An instrument with significant history behind it.

Very impressive.

Hmm your RED looks PINK instead of RED.

Lucky you........owning a guitar Leo himself inspected.

I just renewed my interest in a Blondie. Phillis signed off on those beauties.

Howdy and thanks. Been a subscriber to this forum for a while now, since I got my '83 SC-2 in 2009.
It seems no matter what guitars I buy I always come back the the G&L's. The TRINITY is really my "go to" guitar.

Love the cream knobs and switch with the pickups and pickguard. Is that an ebony or rosewood fretboard?

Hi Michael. Mine has an ebony fbrd. Here's one available now at our friends, Buffalo Bros. They rarely come up for sale and IMHO this one is reasonably priced, too.

wow, that is really nice. the only thing i don't like is the pickguard. i hate tortoise shell and pearloid. so it only figures that so many g&l's come like that.

Louis, we have that in common.
I don't think it would be too hard to remedy on this guitar. I think it uses an S-3 'guard.

Oh well, I think I've succeeded in hijacking my own thread. :shocked028:

Both nice, the '85 Broadcaster with the maple neck is one of the coolest looking guitars period. Generally I am not a big black fan, but the broadcaster is just SO black.

Agreed...but that tort guard doesn't bother me so much as many do. (I dislike pearloid too but I went for the 30th ann Legacy anyway).

The only guitar I've seen with a tort guard that I really dig is a lake placid blue jazzmaster. Looks killer to me.

Something about Vintage White with VW pickguard that stands out. This Trinity is a beauty. -- Darwin
