'83 SB-2 in Bahama Blue- any way to find how many were made?

Hi,

I recently picked up a nice '83 SB-2 in what I think is a very unusual color for this year and model- Bahama Blue. There are 6 first generation (two single coil pickups) SB-2s in the registry in Bahama Blue. Is there any way to find out what the production numbers were for this bass in this color? I've got an identical one in 3-tone sunburst- also a somewhat hard to find color in this instrument. Anyway, I'm just curious about how many were made. Thanks for any help you can offer!

I posted a link to a pic of the blue and sunburst SB-2s... The L2000e just happened to be along for the ride. :)

Thanks! I've become a big fan of G&L basses over the last few years. Think I might need to add an El Toro to the collection...

I don't know on the color and production volume question, but nice bass stash!

Thanks! I'm looking for an El Toro to round out the G&L family a bit.
