Very nice! What pickups do you have in the S500? They look like SDs. I'm looking for new pickups for my strat & have been thinking single humbuckers like that. I'm not sure if they would work well for the classic rock & blues I play.

Can you provide additional info on them? Thanks!

The pickups in my S500 are all Duncan's. JB Jr at the neck/middle and JB Hot Rail at the bridge.

I did a quick pickup run thru this morning. Nothing fancy, but a good comparison of the different sounds on the Classic "S". Recorded onto GarageBand using BIAS FX. Twin reverb, noise gate, slight compression, delay, reverb.

Here is the audio link: https://soundcloud.com/shawn_penney/cla ... p-run-thru

Pickup settings are as follows, each break was a pickup change:

1- bridge
2- bridge/middle
3- middle
4- middle/neck
5- neck
6- neck/bridge
7- neck/middle/bridge
