Leo's Trem Lock

After seeing this listing on eBay, I realised that the trem lock doesn't really lock the DF bridge but rather just prevents it from going backwards like GG]aguar mentions on his website (see below) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-G-L-SC-3-Guitar-Sunburst-Rosewood-Fretboard-Rare-PAF-Tremelo-Stop-/252021755585?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3aadaacec1

I actually have a NOS one and was thinking of adding it to one of my SC-3 guitars until I realised it doesn't actually lock the bridge.

Anyone who has one of these on a G&L care to share some feedback on its functionality?

Cheers,
KF

P.S. Should anyone be interested in purchasing it please PM me.

I've had a couple G&L's with them.
They work pretty well , although I always wondered why they
weren't designed with a blade that fits into a slot on the back of the
bridge plate. That might require a height adjustment nut, but it might
work well to lock that plate in place.
Those DFV's are stable enough, but it might save you if you break a string
during that epic song in front of a huge crowd

Cheers E. Yeah, that's what I actually thought it did until now... I think Wilkinson had something similar that did lock the bridge from moving either way and that's why I thought Leo's did the same.
Yeah, I imagine it would tho I can't recall ever breaking a string on an ASAT or SC-3.
