Can someone tell me a little bit about my F-100 series 2?

Okay, so i just got inhereted this guitar today by my uncle. My Aunt's or his wife's brother passed away in 1985 and just picked up guitar that year. My uncles kept the guitar stored away for all these years and handed it over to me today. I know some history behind G&L and I believe that this guitar was made in 1985. It has original case, and original tremolo bar. Can anybody tell me a little more about it? rarity and maybe value? Its a beautiful guitar and has a sweet clean tone for jazz and blues. But I may be looking to sell it to the right owner. Can someone please help? Thanks.

The F-100 model was the first G&L guitar model built by Leo and company.
It has two MFD humbucker pickups. This was the first guitar pickup that Leo Fender designed at G&L.

The body wood is Swamp Ash and the Series II has the 12" radius fretboard.
Yes, that serial number does indicate that it could have been built in 1985.

Here are some links with more information:

Album: F-100 and F-100E Instructions
Album: Owner's Manual
1980 Catalog, Page 3 (F-100 Series I)
1980 Catalog, Page 3 (F-100 Series II)
Album: 1985 Pricelist
Difference between F100 Series I and Series II???

Here is a recent eBay auction sale for an F-100 in the same era: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... MEWAX%3AIT

Hope this helps.
