SC

Sorry , but what does SC stand for? I know th 1, 2, and 3 are the number of pickups. What would one expect to pay for an 83' SC-1 in very good shape? I'm new to the G & L line, so I apologize if a value question is not appropriate. Thanks

I always thought it stood for "single coil"

SC-1 Single Coil, 1 pickup
SC-2 Single Coil, 2 pickup
SC-3 Single Coil, 3 pickup

I may be wrong.

Some of the guitars I own it means single cut, but I knew it was not that, in this case. Thanks for the info.
