Why 2 copies of the Custom Build Specification Certificate?

Beginning in February 2011, G&L started adding Serial Number Plates to each USA built instrument.
They also include a Custom Build Specification Certificate with each instrument. I have heard from
a couple of members that they received two copies of this certificate. I contacted Dave McLaren
about this and here is his response:

Yes, we are putting two certificates in BUT only one should be expected for the customer.
We are encouraging dealers to take use one of the certificates for display with the instrument on
the floor. Any kind of POP stuff gets thrashed or lost, so that's why we put two in. One's for the
dealer to use if they want, the other is for the customer. If the customer gets both, at least one
should be pristine.
