Post Broadcaster Serialization
Did G&L start the Broadcaster serial numbers at 500? If not, what was the first guitars serial number?

The L1000 started at B000500. The early production Broadcasters started at or above BC00051 but there are lower S/N's that were produced later. See this contribution by HLG where he gives you the skinny.

Hope this helps,

- Jos

Also look at the Broadcaster RareBird page in the G&L Registry, too. BC00001 is listed in the G&L Registry and has an interesting note about it. [And, ya I know, the Registry search
has a bug in it, so that the serial numbers are not listed in proper sort sequence. :BadPC: ]

Hope this helps.

This link will give you a proper sort sequenced list of the Broadcasters registered in our G&L Registry: Sorted list of Broadcasters registered in the G&L Registry.
